SISTEM E-LEARNING PADA THE GREAT COMMISSION UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The Great Commission University is a program under the AKI University Foundation that is devotedto Christian children and must live in dormitories. Until now, learning and spiritual activities arecarried out online using several internet media. However, this method makes the media used is notintegrated so that an Elearning system is needed. The system manages user data, classes, subjects,materials, assignments, and discussion forums. The data collection method used is throughobservation, interview and documentation and system development methods that use the "waterfall"model by following stages such as needs analysis, system design, coding, testing and implementation.System design is done with modeling language using Unified Modeling Language (UML). While theprogramming used is to use the PHP programming language based on the CodeIgniter framework,phpMyAdmin database, and testing using black box testing. E-learning systems created to manageuser data, classes, subjects, materials, tasks, and discussion forums.
